Clara Ottignon

My name is Clara Ottignon, and I was born in 1995. I am a Danish performer and theatre maker. I graduated from The Academy for Theatre & Dance in Amsterdam with a BA in theatre in 2023. As a performer and maker, I draw great inspiration from human behavioral patterns. I am fascinated by how we act and react, our curiosities, and what attracts us. The duality that exists between pleasure and discomfort particularly captivates me. In my work, I explore similar themes, utilizing a physical stylized expression infused with absurdity, humor, and laughter. My goal is for my creations to strike a chord with the audience on a profound level by resonating with something familiar within them.
