WAUW!
WAUW! is a physical and musical performance for toddlers that shows the world through the eyes of toddlers and preschoolers. They find everything wow, like their own reflection in a shop window. And while adults see a toppled plant pot as an obstacle and a dirty job, young children are more interested in the earthworms that emerge. The adult world is often black and white, while children see much more color.
This performance demonstrates that things that seem mundane or even perceived as obstacles are often much more interesting, exciting, and beautiful than we initially think. The WOW factor is almost always there, as long as we look closely.
In the show WAUW!, we use fans made of 100% recycled paper as a key element of the set design. These fans can take on various shapes, adding to the magical atmosphere of the performance. We also wanted to give children the opportunity to get creative themselves.
